The primary responsibility of this position is to assist NorthRidge Community Credit Union to live our Core Purpose, 'To support the people in our communities.' In addition, this position will interview, recommend and authorize approval of consumer credit loans. This position analyzes consumer loan requests based on the members story while adhering to lending policy and authority limits. The main focus is to help our members become financially secure.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of collections or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: General office equipment such as calculators, computers, photocopiers, and scanners. Demonstrates carefulness about detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks. Demonstrates the willingness and advance knowledge and skill levels by completing available training and certifications.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a stationary position for 95% of the workday. Utilizing the telephone 20% of the workday. Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping or crouching when appropriate, on occasion. Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, mousing, phones, etc. Moving, lifting and/or carrying 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Primary work location is Biwabik and Hoyt Lakes, MN. Travel between locations, for training and conferences is occasionally required.

Talks to others to convey information effectively. Thorough knowledge of established teller procedures and policies. Understanding of Credit Union operations. General office equipment such as calculators, computers, photocopiers, and scanners. Includes the ability to operate encoding, coin counting, and cash counting machines. Demonstrates the willingness to learn and advance knowledge and skill levels by completing available training and certifications.
