NorthRidge Facebook Contest

2025 Facebook Contest

Win $50 for you and $100 for a nonprofit of your choice*!

Every month during 2025, NorthRidge will select a Facebook user to win $50! Winner also gets to choose a local nonprofit to receive $100 from NorthRidge. You must appear on the Weekly engagement list supplied by Facebook at least once during the month to be entered into the drawing. That means the more you share our content, comment on, and like our posts, the better odds you have to win.

At the end of each month, we will draw for a winner. An individual cannot win a second time.

Winners will automatically have their name entered into the monthly drawing based solely on the most engaged users list provided to NorthRidge by Facebook each week (that means you will need to regularly engage with our posts to make it on the list!). This list will be shared on Facebook and will not be altered except to remove any NorthRidge staff, board members, and their immediate families that may be on the list. A user can earn up to 4 entries in a one-month period. The monthly winner will then be selected at random and notified during the first week of the following month. The winner will have 5 business days to reply and contact us before we draw a new winner.

Comments or other engagements that are deemed inappropriate will be removed, and the author will be disqualified from the contest; this will be done at the discretion of NorthRidge.

*Our standard giveaway rules apply, visit the giveaway rules page for details. You may choose from a pre-selected list of several Iron Range nonprofits. Employees, board members, and their immediate family (parents, siblings, spouse, significant other, children) are not eligible to win.

Contest begins January 1, and ends December 31, 2025.

Ron F "This is a wonderful giveaway sponsored by NorthRidge Community Credit Union. We at the Aurora Area Food Shelf have been recipients and are very grateful Thank you for giving back to the communities!"

Not on the list, but feel like you should be?

The Weekly engagement list is provided to us from Facebook, we do not decide who is on that list. If your name did not appear, here is some information from Facebook:

Our weekly engagement list highlights our Facebook page’s most active public followers.

Followers can earn points when they interact with our content through likes, shares, and comments. The list refreshes once a week.

Note: Only users who follow our Facebook page and publicly share who they follow will display in our weekly engagement list from Facebook. Click the link to make sure you are publicly sharing who you follow on Facebook!

For the best odds of making the list:

1. Make sure you have liked and followed our NorthRidge Facebook page.

2. Make sure you publicly share who you follow (learn more from the link above).

3. Have FUN and engage with us!

We may add names to the monthly drawing at our discretion if they are obvious to us, had public shares, and did not appear in the list for reasons we do not know. If you feel you should be considered, please send us a message on Facebook! This is an inclusive contest that we will not intentionally omit any follower from (unless the user comments, etc., are deemed inappropriate).
