 President's Message

Your credit union is very strong financially and we have plenty of money to lend!

NorthRidge Community Credit Union has policies in place and we are stewards of your money.  Who do we work for?   You, the member.

Our 52nd Annual Meeting was a success!   Seventy seven members were in attendance.   As a farm girl from a small farming community, I grew to understand the value of cooperative and the common goal of “People Helping People”.  I promise YOU, as the new president, I will honor that commitment and we will never forget our rich history and the spirit of community.  In these times, It is so important to continue to pass on the tradition of membership.  We thank you for your continuing support and confidence through these challenging economic times.

The credit union has continued to maintain a strong and stable capital ratio of 11.41%.  As of December 31, 2008, the Minnesota credit union average was 10.60% and we are well above this ratio.  The NCUA definition of “well capitalized” is 7.0%.

Going forward, your Credit Union Board of Directors and management team will continue to perform our due diligence in managing the balance sheet for the membership.  This team will use the following strategies in 2009:

Expense control and operational efficiencies that fit our size credit union and focusing on our community and “you” the member, to ensure that we have the products and services that meet our hometown needs.

While it is difficult to predict the future and it can seem daunting to us at times, I am confident that NorthRidge Community Credit Union will be successful because of YOU THE MEMBER, the dedication and commitment  of  our Board of Directors, and our Credit Union Staff.

Our staff will continue to provide personal one-on-one service to help our membership through these uncertain times.  I am proud of where our Credit Union is today and the direction that we are heading for the future.
